MINI COURSES 2026
Mini Courses cost $45 and generally go on sale three weeks before they start. Like our longer courses, Mini Courses combine literature study with creative writing workshops. Students log-on to the course forum on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and complete weekly writing assignments based on the reading.
November 1-30: Early Canadian Short Stories. Five stories by Morley Callaghan, Sinclair Ross, Nellie McClung, Alice Munro and Marian Engel. Ages 12+. Tuition includes printable course pack, which contains all reading material for this course.
November 20-December 20: Deep dive into one of the greatest novels ever written, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Ages 13+. This course is designed so that students read from Thanksgiving into the Christmas holidays: the perfect time of year to read this book. Course work ends December 20, but there are discussion threads available until New Years for students who want to discuss until the last page.
